Hi there is this bike still available? if so i'll come and take it
Hi All, for sale is this Dawes Horizon touring / town bike, it's made with Reynolds 500 steel tubing. The frame is in good used condition and the seat tube measures 60cm c-t, while the top tube is 58cm, so the bike is suited to a taller rider.
The mechs and downtube shifters are Shimano "Light Action", with a Stronglight chainset and the bars are the original 42cm wide Dawes alloy drops, with an unbranded 90mm alloy stem. Before selling I improved the braking by fitting some modern aero brake levers teamed with a pair of new Miche Performance callipers and new pads, plus rewrapped the bars with new tape.
While the post is an unbranded fluted alloy one I've fitted a nice Brooks B17 saddle in good nick. The pedals are also some new alloy bodied ones, while the wheelset is the original pair of Belgian made Alesa rims laced to French Maillard hubs with 28c Michelin World Tour tyres.
Before selling I totally overhauled the bike, the bottom bracket and headset have been serviced and everything is running smoothly. As it is I'm asking
£195£190£185£180 o.n.o collected, although I can knock down the price with a less fancy saddle and could post if necessary. I've also got plenty of accessories, mudguards, a rear rack, panniers etc, so can add them if desired. I'm based in London E14 for viewing so please pm if interested, thanks.SOLD...
