22" (56cm) FW Evans full 531c, Shimano 105 group, Campag hubs on Mavic MA40.

I picked this up alongside some other things I was after and as it's too small for me it's got to go...

Lovely mid-80s FW Evans 531c throughout 22" (ctc), straight, dent and ding free, just the odd chip to the paint work, a few tiny bits of surface rust. Columbus dropouts.
Groupset: Shimano 105 /1050 Indexed 6 speed (shifters have friction option). Works perfectly.
Chainset: 52/42 Shimano 105 bio-space
Wheels: Mavic MA40 with Campagnolo (Gran Sport? hubs) and skewers. Shimano 6 speed freewheel (close ratio 13-21 maybe? I check later) Wheels run true and smooooooth.
Brakes: Shimano 105, non-aero levels w/ original hoods.
Bars/stem: Cinelli Giro de Italia 64-40 with Star logo. Cinelli 1A (100mm).
SR fluted seat post
Headset: Specialized
BB: ?
Pedals: SR
Saddle: Avocet (functioning but ripped)

The seatpost and stem move freely and have been removed and regreased before reinserting. I've taken it for a spin and the shifting is lovely, the brakes work better than my Shimano 600EXs and it rides great. Lot's of life left in the rims. The smudges in the photos are sticker residue which I'll wash off tonight.

I'm not sure who made frames for FW Evans in the mid-80s (I've seen Bob Jackson, Nigel Dean, Dave Yates and Orbit listed as possible candidates), whoever it was it's a really nicely built frame (fork crown is very nice). The only clue I can see is "27D" stamped under the BB.
