FS: Specialized Hardrock Singlespeed, 18", great pub bike, touring potential - £65 > SOLD

My Rockhopper is standing in for comfy bike duty (for now) so this is up for sale.

1995 Specialized Hardrock Sport GX, 18", setup as single speed. Surly S/S conversion, dropouts are vertical so there's some slack but i've not dropped a chain with the gear combo. It’s been converted to V-brakes at some point, nothing fancy but they run fine. New brake cables and chain, cartridge Shimano bottom bracket feels good, headset has been greased and is good to go. Deore rear wheel is pretty straight and smooth, Specialized front is well-worn but it does the job. Front has a new Zipp track skewer for added security and poser points… Finishing kit speaks for itself but it does the job, spare tubes included.

Plenty of potential to setup as a cheap tourer, rack and mudguard mounts.

Really fun to ride, 36x14 ratio will get you most places. Big tyres, upright stem, soft saddle and big flat pedals make it very comfortable.

We moved in last month, previous owner got to ill to mow the lawn so put down what you can see. I thought i'd fucking hate it but with all the other stuff we need to do it's been a god-send. Doesn't heat up and melt to you, cat likes it and i can hoover it with my Henry!

I'm 5ft 10", I would say anywhere between 5ft 6"-6ft depending on inseam and how much/little seatpost you're comfortable with
