Possibly not the best place for this but I thought I'd see if anyone was interested before it goes to the bay.....
Been building this up for a while with a mixture of parts bin and specially bought parts. Would love to keep it but just can't justify it and a little too big really. Also no room, have too many projects and MRs Jeff would probably divorce me.
I think this is a Macleans Club Model no. 1 with 'upright head', as per
Has some really nice parts, and is in what looks to be original paint.
Rare Macleans frame Club model no. 1 Upright Head tube. 22.1/2 inches I think c-t-c seat tube. (will check) in Original Paint.. Pre War (H if I remember correctly0) frame number.
see: http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/macleans.html
Really very rare and pricey Constrictor Conloy 26 1 1/4 wheels on Blumfield double fixed hubs. With nice old fashioned tyres too. (will take 700c/sprints if desired)
Mansfield Saddle, pretty good condition. Is pierced so could be laced for a thinner saddle
Reynolds? comfort flat moustache type handlebars with early GB Hiduminium lever. (with anon-original wedge fitting pouched from a weinmann lever- this works fine but will try find the original if I can.)
The current brake is slightly later GB Coureur Plus model that works but isn't ideal. However, I have a CLB you can have if you prefer and if I can find them some very very rare GB Hiduminium flat bar touring levers that may fit better.
Needs chain but other than that a really very rare and pretty much all period correct (should that bother you) Classic Lightweight in original paint.
As I said, I'd love to keep but just can't, so be nice if someone off here fancies it as easy project yto finish off.
Bike is in Deptford. Pick up there or just maybe I might post ....(if I have to)
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
