Was right-hooked on my way down Southwood Lane this evening - hit the brakes, but the front brake cable snapped.

Contact details exchanged. Initial signs are just cuts and bruises, scratches down the side of a merc and a dislodged wing mirror. Watch this space, I guess.

No, but neither did I. Police were too busy to show and asked me to report it tomorrow. Got details of the driver and a witness, although given the witness was wearing an AddyLee lanyard I'm not hugely hopeful.

One for the insurers to argue out, I think.

I was able to inspect the damage to the non-bike part of rhowe the other day and it seemed to amount to a few scratches. A lucky escape. Glad it wasn't worse.
