  • Recently came across this on Pedalroom and got it shipped from Russia by a great guy called Artem (not sure if he's on here or not). Intending to build up into a nice little fixed rat using mainly parts bin bits and bobs and hopefully some other beaterish components.

  • Beautiful

  • When unwrapped everything looked pretty great, with even the chrome on the chainstay in better condition than I expected. It's not the original fork, but is a nice chrome Rossin fork, which seems to have been built with the tiniest of tyres in mind. Not perfect condition, but perfect rat condition I reckon..

  • Had an old no name stem, bars, seatpost and a cat in the parts bin so I'm going to use these until I have money to start upgrading maybe..

  • Thank you! Can't wait to get it all together, it's my first vintage build so may need some help with some recommendations on components and things

  • Had a beater front wheel and a vintage hed disc kicking about so am mounting these for the time being with an eye on upgrading to a nicer vintage trackset when money will allow. I tried at first mounting a 23c tyre, but the clearance is too small and there is overlap on the frame. Fortunately I had an old Michelin 700x20c haute densite tyre kicking about. Mounted bars and stem which seem to sit nicely on it. Heading to my mate who's a signpainter to get 1312 painted on the disc this afternoon.

  • Mounted the seatpost and a brooks C13 saddle as it's the only old-ish looking saddle I own currently, but I intend to switch for a flite or something similar in time.
And that's the build in it's current I'm broke as shit form..

Got an NOS campag victory BB, does anyone have a cheap, ratty track crank that would fit this?? Also in need of a seatpost collar bolt if anyone has a spare kicking around they'd consider selling?

  • @Brooklyn thanks very much. I will definitely get in touch with you in time as I want to do the frame justice with quality components, but a bit broke now I'm afraid so it's just parts that fit the bike and the budget..

  • Very nice frame!
I would apply a lot of wax to protect it.

  • yeah, I think before I really put it all together I'll do some kind of rustproofing internally and see about something for the exterior too, which kind of wax would you recommend?

  • I have pure carnauba wax left from a job and use that. No idea if its the best.

  • Ok perfect, thanks! I've heard linseed oil is a good and cheap treatment for the inside?

  • sweeeeet

  • Slave ittttttt

  • cheers bud, pretty excited about it! @danslecarton any suggestions??

  • keep the disc on it !

  • Disc is definitely a good start, maybe that trispoke that's lying around in the background?

  • Disc is staying I reckon, and I figured fuck it so pentagram on one side and 1312 on the other, figured acab may be a bit too pullover-able..

  • Ooh, might try that front when I get home tonight and see, cheers!

  • rad

  • Awesome. First dibs for if you sell the frame.

  • I like the tape job. Nice outline, maybe a diff colour though.

  • Definitely, it's going to be white on black once it's all done. Might do white and grey on the lettering on the other side to try and tie in with the frame decals.

  • Superb.

  • Needs tidied up a little and need to work out a font for the other side, but it's looking pretty sweet.....
