Hi there,
planning on doing some fairly light touring from Würzburg Germany down the Via Claudia Augusta into Austria and Italy, ride up the Stelvio and then cross Switzerland. Planning on taking the train back to Germany from Interlaken or Basel. Duration will be around 10 days. I will try to camp mostly (if my setup works) and ride around 100-150km a day. The route up until the Stelvio is pretty straightforward. Following the old Roman trade route "Via Claudia" over the Fernpass and the Reschenpass and then take a right and go over the Stelvio into Switzerland. That is where it will get tricky (apart from getting up the Stelvio first, of course). Looking for some routes through Switzerland (from east to west).
I'd be glad to take some route suggestions or if anyone wants to tag a long for a while, let me know. Will be post some photos of the bike setup (and the trip eventually) as the planning is moving along. Will probably set off second week of august or so.
cheers
