I've got a 10 speed Record (v2 Ergo shape) and a 10 speed Centaur (v3 Ergo shape I.e. current) but neither have square taper chainset

Unfortunately won't work - bought an early merlin extralight frame which takes a non-standard BB made by merlin, so needs to be square taper.

The bottom bracket shell is English threaded though right? Just take the merlin bb out and replace with correct one for the new group.

Not threaded, it's an early press fit type.

Ah, fair enough then.

Hi Chris, just realised the taper I have is not ISO and would need to change spindles, which I'm looking into. Will update the thread once I hear. Cheers.

May not matter if the spindle length is ok, check here:

On the lookout for this again. Spindle issue is resolved. 10 speed record full groupset preferred! (with square taper)
Looking for a record group. 9 or 10 speed would work.
