Unfortunately I'm never going to get round to restoring this so I'll see if anyone here fancies it.
1950s original (you can tell by the shape of the support structure on the wire seat base) Eames 'DKX' chair with normal height 4 leg base and original Herman Miller Venice factory Naugahyde cover designed by Alexander Girard and with original label.
It is ROUGH, and incomplete, the base has a fair amount of surface rust but I have given it a good look over and a scrub with a wire brush and there isn't anything terminal, one leg has a nibble of deeper rust about 5mm in from the end. The main wire chair also has plenty of surface rust and it looks like one of the welds has gone (see last picture) by the bend on the support frame, I have had a chair with three separate cracks here I have been using for over 10 years that hasn't got worse but you could of course have this spot welded. There are no feet or bolts/shock-mounts, several of mine from the same batch are held together with fairly standard M6 bolts. The cover is OK but needs some scrubbing/polishing/gluing to get it back to it's best.
A media blast for the base and seat followed by powder coat would give you years of life from this even used outside, two of these live on my balcony year round, there are also some good repro bikini covers available that make them a little more comfy if you don't like the Naugahyde.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
