Proflex 856 retro mtb frame

  • Proflex 856 frame and Girvin forks. Needs new elastomers, most of the components fitted are crap, lx cantis with xtr blocks are decent. £100
I also have a pair of retro mavic rims on Hope titanium hubs listed separately on here, and a complete retro deore xt groupset for anyone who wanted to buy the whole lot and have a cool retro mountain bike.

  • When I was 15 I would have killed for one of these.

  • @Dazaa willing to split the fork?

  • Possibly yeh, how much would you give me for them?

  • Naughty naughty on gumtree

  • No idea, what's the sterrer size 1 or 1 1/8? The elastomers seem pretty pricey so not a lot.

  • buy the whole thing for a hundred

then sell the frame for a price that would equate to the price you want to pay for the fork minus the total inital cost

you can then decide what price you pay for the fork yourself

  • Not worth the headache of me stripping the most valuable part off to sell and be left with an effectively worthless frame if you don't want to spend much. Cmon mate.

  • Missing proprietary bits kills my interest anyway, best of luck.

  • I've got a similar one of these but with the carbon drop outs, may sell, still have the whole factory build, much fun, free bump
