Do you go to/through anywhere else? Paddington is a pain for me.

Not regularly, but could meet up somewhere central - feel free to make a suggestion

Hi. I'm a Garmin novice. I want a unit to navigate me off road and on road. Eg Road from London to Durham. Or off road London to Durham. Not bovved about heart rate, altitude etc. Just directions and turns. Would either do this adequately? Ta. Mel.

605 will have a go at this - it has turn by turn directions and whatnot.

do you know the battery life you get from the 605? trying to decide between going all out on a new wahoo or getting this.
thanks

Depends! Maps and whatnot drain the battery quicker. If you are just recording then it lasts a good long time.
For £40 it's more than worth a punt :)

I used a 605 for years. Great device. Works well on and off road. Also had a mount in the car to use it when driving.

Edge 605 - £40
Bit of an antique but still works great. Comes with mounts, charge cable and city Europe maps. Couple of scuffs on the case from use but screen is blemish free.
500 - £40
Nice simple unit that will talk to HR / Power etc. Comes with mount, bands, charge cable. Great condition.
Collect from Paddington. No posting, sozzles.
