Poor Pavol.

Ah, those green bikes? Yes won't necessarily be good for that business.

He's got other stuff on the go but it'll likely hit it somewhat.

Just deposited, gonna have a spin on one at Lunch. Worried that my 195cm frame may be a bit squidged. Do they wheely?
-

I'm close to signing up. Let us know how you get on being tall.

They are ok. Not the best for comfort but could see them being useful for nipping around on, particularly after a night out (possibly inadvisable). DM me your email if you are going to sign up so I can get some points!

Good to know & will do.

I've changed my mind after doing about 10 miles on these at the weekend. They are terrible for tall people, they are too heavy to wheely, excessive bell ringing is almost unavoidable.

Friend says he kept ringing bell thinking it was gripshift gear.

TBH I did see a lad in Fallowfield who had sprayed "his" Gold. At least he was adding value.

Shrinking the recommended usage zone. Not so useful for many now!

Yeah, seems to have flopped after the initial interest.
Did see a lad have a crank arm fall off one of the "unbreakable" bikes (he didn't seem to be vandalizing it). Makes me wonder how many of the initial 1000 remain?

Saw 2 parked on wide pavements along Village Way, Trafford Park on Sunday. Seems weird to exclude the flatter areas of Chorlton, Whalley Range and Trafford.
Do they have a team responsible for balancing out one-way journeys?

My friend Simon and I are doing something silly....

Pavol or someone working for him picks up outliers and ones in need of repair on a trailer.

Top bargain here...

I swear I've seen more vandalised ones than ones used properly :/ - in Spinningfields on Friday:

If you see them damaged or vandalised contact support.uk@mobike.com and they are pretty quick at getting them rescued. I do wonder if we will make it past the probation period though...

Anyone know if this has actually been successful? Love the idea in theory but not convenient enough to be more than a gimmick, even around didsbury where there's quite a few lying about

One final push on this (as it's tomorrow)
