What sort of bike? A tandem or just a backie?
-

Gave it a go, very nice riders, super social! Carried two people and a bike on the side pretty well, definently worth it

I've been using these guys on the corporate card instead of Uber for a while now.
Lovely fellas.
Great service. They just tweeted that one of their bikes has been nicked. All Pedal Me riders wear a pink hi vis waterproof.
Eyes peeled.

Had to take a 25kg dog statue across town. Easily achieved.

Don't know what's worse. The carbonite dog or the socks.
-
• #7
The socks have bikes on them, what isnt to love?
-

They're not black and they're in those shoes. Did you buy jeans that were too long as well?
How did pedalmeapp work? Did they rock up and cart you and your crap around London?
-
• #10
Pretty much, it's like an uber style ride app
-
• #11
pedal me is the best
if you have a business, use them rather than addison lee. no excuse. -

I work for them part time, agree with what Platypus says :)
Was a passenger for the first time yesterday, loved it!

ah shit, nice! you might be taking me in the near future
one time the CEO came to take me for a trip. he arrived early and I made him tea and we chatted for a while before leaving. he was super nice and took my feedback very much to heart. -

I have used them for a Champagne delivery I couldn't do myself (I have my own cargo bike).
(10 cases of 6 bottles so around 100kg all in)Highly recommended, turned up on time, very polite, delivered as requested.
Would use again!

Saw one of these in the flesh for the first time yesterday on the strand. Very cool.

I see one doing an after school club run quite regularly, tend to pass by on my own cargo and enjoy waves back and forth. Love the movement and the increase in cargo bikes around central london. Makes me want to show everyone from back home up north that there ARE genuine other ways.

I've never used Uber.

I'm up in Glasgow and we are slowly seeing an uptake, some on their own time, others off the back of the excellent loan scheme available to Scotland just now. Also Glasgow and Edinburgh are trying to implement ulez zones and there's a small push towards alternative methods.
We're expecting a new eBullitt with all the nice stuff on it soon, literally cannot wait. For us it will replace two cars and act as our demonstrator model, prob do some battery assisted touring on it too over winter . -

Are there referral codes floating around for PedalMe?
-
• #22
Couldn't find one
-
• #23
it’s my understanding they aren’t releasing referall codes until they’ve expanded a bit, and have more bikes / riders available. As it is they are just managing to keep up with demand :)

Sweet - looking forward to my first ride!

just spoken to one of the riders/mechanics on my way in. they've expanded for sure 12 bikes, they are doing well! great to hear!
There's an app called Pedal Me that offers an uber style taxi service except it's by bike instead of car.
Anyone given it a go? I've seen a couple of their bikes up in North London but apparently they only have 7 for now... It'll be interesting to see if it takes off.
