  • No rush to sell? Not many will rush to buy twice the price (new one) unless 52t is really special.

  • C-record mate. They don't make these any longer (as you well know). Thanks for your valuable input. You're clearly well informed... BNOS = brand new OLD stock.

  • I know they are NOS, but still a bit high for here. More eBay prices. There are ones on there in VGC for around £260, and some in similar condition that sold for a bit less.

  • I wasn't aware of that, got any links?

    I found this:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Campagnolo-C-record-144BCD-167-5mm-NJS-Approved-Crank-set-Pista-16112621-/122242367300?hash=item1c76367f44:g:Z1cAAOSwiONYORLz

    £350

    NO chainring

    rusty and scratched.

Anyone else want to derail this sales thread??????????????

  • Link not working, but by the URL it seems they are the njs ones which are much more desirable.

Not trying to derail your thread buddy, just making you aware of prices out there.

  • £400, doesn't include shipping or paypal fees????????????????????????????????????

  • Mystic fizzy says: these will not sell on here at £400

  • Fair play, this is at least a constructive post as opposed to some of the above posts.
Bare in mind this is a MINT setup, happy to entertain offers midway between the two.

  • I sold a pair of these cranks in extremely good condition on here last year for £175 with chainring and bolts.
I'm also selling a set of the rarer V2 cranks with matching BB on a bike on here at the moment for £800 all in (that includes a 753R SBDU frame to boot).
I know these are lovely and pretty rare, but i doubt you will sell them on here at that price. Try Steel Is Real Facebook group, they lap this shit up.
Just giving my two cents, GLWS

  • @yobaby I'm following the thread for a price drop on the cranks. :)

  • Thanks for the constructive feedback chaps (leChef/Poetic)

Dropping the cranks down to £350 or nearest offer as these are mint and I've found some eBay sales that have achieved these prices. I won't be letting these go for anything in the two hundreds range.

    Thanks for looking

  • Yeah, I drunkenly bumped the last ones that sold on ebay up to £230. If you come down towards the high 200s and I will take them. I am based in London so can do cash on collection anywhere.

  • NOS can add 50-75% to the price, especially for C-Record era parts.

However a vinegary attitude can result in no sale at all (on here), leaving you to suck-up eBay and Paypal fees.

    Thanks for looking!

  • Absolutely hence the price, vinegary attitudes work both ways, some things never change on this forum (having a been a member for some time now)

    Thanks for the bump!

  • This thread sure is antsy.

    Free bump.

So serious question: is the diff betwixt these and the current ones just the production era & logo? They look mighty similar to the current record, correct?

  • ps love the punched leather laser ...

  • Hi Skülly

That is my understanding yes, I'm sure someone else more learned will chime in :)

  • TBF there's no real mystery as to vinegariness, is there?

You're asking top end Ebay prices on a forum that you say you've been a member of for a long time, but that from your post history you seem to use exclusively for classifieds.

Please, let us all fall over to save you on Ebay commission for the sake of your wonderful patronage of this unique and special online platform by paying the absolute height of the market for all your goods.

Maybe you should just take it to Ebay and save yourself the aggo?

  • Identical in all but price

  • This is besides the point but it never fails to make me laugh when I see someone trying to sell something for several hundred quid and still demand that "buyer pays postage/paypal fees"
    £400 - Yes, a fine price, a bargain
£410 - Outrageous, I will not pay it

  • What's the difference between BNOS and NOS?

  • What's the difference between BNOS and NOS?

    £150.

(Not including shipping and PayPal fees, natch.)
