Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra SOLD

Selling this rare and unique piece of Belgian steel: an '88 Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra in Tutti Frutti colourscheme. The frame has no dings or dents but has some paintchips (tho in a more than decent state; no need to have it resprayed - that is if you like the colour... :-)). Front forks could use a rechrome. Stays and lugs are chromed, chrome in good condition.

Size is 55 square. Seatpost needed is 27,2 and needs an ITA BB.

Price is NOW 320 € shipped to UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg and Germany.

SLX tubing, indeed. Corsa Extra isnt -in general- that hard to find but this is one of the rare specimen that came with chromed lugs and seatstays.

It's one of my favourite 80's bikes. I think I'll just keep the Merckx Professional, one Nuovo Mexico and this Guerciotti and sell all the others (from the 70's and 80's: another Merckx Professional, anothrr Colnago Mexico, a Super, Colner and 2 Olmo's). If interested in any, just ask.

That's a keeper. ;-) It's an original PR6000 team frame (from the 1991 pro team). It's waiting for a respray. I recently bought a 1991 MC Pro mountainbike so the sprayer has an example of how it should be.
