Wanted: Hybrid/tourer

A friend is after a decent secondhand bike to commute and ferry their baby about on.

Could be a hybrid or tourer, flat bar or drops. Budget up to £400.

Main requirements:

• Can take a decent size tyre (32mm+)
  
• Long distance commute so not a tank
  
• Can take a rack
  
• Won't need lots of work straightaway
  
  

I think something like a croix de fer / kaffenback might fit the bill but could be anything really.

Has anyone got anything suitable? Or any good ideas?

What size does your friend ride? I'm considering selling my first gen CdF which is a 54cm...

I've a pretty much mint Genesis Vagabond in Medium that might do see the classifieds!

Sorry forgot to put size - he's 5'9" or 5'10" so I think probably a 50 or 52? Maybe a 54 in something with very upright geo.

@Raoul I spotted your vagabond and it looks so fun. A bit big though I think.
