If you don't already have one, get a seat pack ?
Having ridden in Spain I wouldn't want anything on my back. I was a sweaty mess cycling in late afternoon/early evening in September

Yeah. Sardinia. 6 days mtb. Was fine. Had a change of clothes. Some tools and a camelback. Plus phone wallet etc. Important. V important to have a waste and chest strap done up so that the weight of the pack is not on your shoulders. You should have a gap between shoulder and straps. A bum bag for bits n pieces saves a lot of hassle too. Enjoy.
Has anyone ever cycle toured in spain (or in the heat) with small backpack?.
Going on a weeks ultra light trip to malaga area in July.
