I'm a little biased but I reckon this is the nicest Roberts track frame I have ever seen.
Hope it goes to a good home and gets ridden on the track.

Oh balls. I hope the new owner enjoys!
Very reluctant sale of my lovely track bike, but we are moving house and with the best will in the world, I'm not going to be able to do much track racing/training anymore. For the amount I will do it seems far more sensible to use one of our club Talbots.
It's also true that one of the stable had to be sacrificed to the move gods, just sad that its this one :(
This thread is for the frame and forks (it will come with a head set and BB)
So the frame is a large one - CTC measurements are
TT 57cm
ST 59.5cm
A Columbus mix, probably from the 70's but Roberts were moth balling when I got it so no exact info. Age is just a guess from the headbadge and style of frame.
The frame speaks for its self and has been in the forum for a while, with all the previous threads from @danb and @Jingle_Jangle being found through my build thread, linked here.
The overall condition of the bike is good, I have added a few more chips to the awesome paint, but they are really hard to photograph. Please don't think it is as mint as when I got it from @jinglejangle as it's not. Neither is it in the show room condition that the older photos in the Flickr album show it in.
There is also either a very, very, very small dimble in the TT, or it's a paint blemish, I just can't tell.
I would feel more comfortable with people viewing the frame before deciding to buy it, as I am asking a bit of cash for it and I want people to be happy.
The worst scratch is on the top of the seat stay and can be seen in the photos attached, this is from some container love I'm afraid, but just brings out some more chrome!
Chrome is excellent all over, just slightly tatty around the rear Campag dropouts.
It's a cracking bike to ride and incredible to look at and it's done me so well over the two years I've raced it. Its been all over the country and always gets admiring glances. It's also an exceptionally solid and stiff frame, testament to its builder.
The wheels, bars and stem & cranks will possibly be for sale too, but at the mo I'm undecided what to do with them. Obvs if people show loads of interest I will price them, but don't want to fish for sales or waste people's time.
So F&F, headset (tange) and BB (Campag cartridge) £500 collected from Herne Hill or HHV.
(If I'm miles off with pricing please let me know)
Flickr album showing the build and current condition is here photos of the bike as it is are at the end of the album
Any questions please ask.
Thanks
Rob
