FS) Look 695 ZR with Campagnolo Chorus

Posted on
  • Hey everyone,

I'm selling my Look 695 ZR, moving houses and decided I could no longer justify keeping it.
Purchased when I was still working in the bike business back in Jun 2015, original owner.
Only kept indoors and well maintained, ridden occasionally, so pretty much in mint condition.

Front derailleur needs some adjustment but otherwise everything is sound.
Bike has an integrated seatmast which has been cut according to my personal measurements
(I'm about 5'4" / 165cm) but comes with additional spacers if required.

Additional information and geometry chart available on: http://www.lookcycle.com/en/velo/695-zr/

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask!

  • Argh, so keen, but I think this is a bit out of my price range - and possibly a bit small. What is the measurement from centre of crank spindle to seat rails (not top of saddle, as I'd be running a different saddle anyway), and how much higher can it be shimmed?

I'd like to rule in/out the size before figuring what I'd have to sell :-)

  • A quick measurement from centre of crank spindle to saddle rails is 63cm.
Centre of crank spindle to top of saddle is just shy of 67.5cm.

Inspecting the seatmast spacer kit, there's quite a few sizes supplied:
    3 x 10 mm
    1 x 5 mm
    1 x 2 mm
    1 x 1.0 mm
However according to the elastomer, the limit is about 30 mm.

While it isn't the most economical, Look do sell a RSP seatpost which can replace the existing setup (http://www.lookcycle.com/en/components-bicycles/)

  • Cheers. So are there any spacers in it currently, or can it be lifted 30mm from current set up?

  • No spacers currently used, I had it cut pretty close to the limit of what I could, so I could do without the use of any spacers. So you effectively have full use of the 30 mm of spacers.

  • Damn. It will fit. Would just need a longer stem.

  • Well, if it makes the deal any sweeter, I could throw in a pair of Shimano 105 5800 pedals and I may have some new Campagnolo cable sets floating around.

  • Price drop to £2900

  • Another drop to £2800
