Thinking of Veloflex Record
That one.
You could probably use something a bit lighter without puncture protection for A Races, but for training and track league I'd use Veloflex Record with latex inners

Latex inners, now there's a thought.

Just realised it's Veloflex Master I was thinking of, not Record. Just looked up the prices and the Record is too much money.

I've found Deda Tre RS Corsa to be great, supple and long-lasting. Ridden them on Herne Hill with fairly high pressure (for a clincher). But from a quick search today it seems like it's disappeared from the market.
Damn!

Master/Corsa are both dirt cheap (well, for a quality race tyre) - £50ish for two from Ribble.
I do TTs on them with Latex tubes. Also surprisingly durable - done century+ rides (loaded with Alpkit seat pack) and also the Tour of the Black Country (gravel, cobbles) and no issues. By far my favourites tyres.

Just ordered a pair of Veloflex Masters. Thanks for the input :)
Looking for recommendations on a tan wall clincher tyre to use on a concrete velodrome with 22 degree banking. Needs to be 23mm max and slick or file tread, retro looking, as it's going on an old steel bike.
Thinking of Veloflex Record, but open to other suggestions.
