SOLD 1990 Xerro 3 Columbus Aelle Frameset with oval downtube - 55cm ST / 56cm TT - Blue and Yellow - with YST headset - SOLD

I have a spare frameset for sale. 55cm seat tube, 56cm top tube, centre to centre - suitable for someone around 5ft10 ish

This is a "Xerro 3" frameset which was originally sold in French supermarkets in 1990 with a 3x8 Campagnolo Avanti groupset.

The frame is made of 7 Columbus Aelle tubes, hand welded in France and is quite light. Downtube is oval / aero, which is a nice touch.
The forks are cro-mo steel, made in China and are not so light.

The frame itself is 55cm seat tube, 56cm top tube, centre to centre and overall it is in decent nick. No dents and a relatively low number of scratches. It has been kept indoors until now.

I have destickered one side, left the original stickers on the other side so people can see what it looks like.

It comes with a YST headset which is rough, both in looks and operation. Would need a good polish & degrease/regrease. It also comes with a non branded aero seatpost - available separately.
Please note that one of the headtube mounted gear adjusters has snapped in the frame so will need attention.

All threads are BSA so no funny threads...

Price wise, I am only after £75 -> £65 -> £50 NOW GONE.
