How easy is it to swap the freehub?
What model year are they?
-
• #5
Yeah changing the freehub on these is very very easy - no freehub removal tool even needed, just a 5mm and 2mm Allen key IIRC - The freehub pops straight off and it's a very easy swap, the kits have all the bits you need.

Wow, that's a sweet wheelset. If only I had the money. Someone needs to buy this before I try to find a way to mortgage my future to get these. GLWS

What's the process for going through the Zipp recall process? Anyone done it? Straightforward? Nice wheels, interested!

Yep, I have. Took the wheels to Evans at St. Pauls, picked them up about 4 weeks later with new hubs. Job done.

Ta!
For Sale are these Zipp 303 Firecrest Clinchers with a Campagnolo 11spd Freehub.
In great condition, they only ever been used in the dry and have probably seem less than 3k. The rear hub was completely rebuilt by Sam at LMNH around 100 miles ago. These are running super smooth, straight and true.
These sound amazing at speed, quick to accelerate and hold speed well. Can make even 85kgs of me go fast!
I'll include the Schwable One tyres pictured and can also thrown in a pair of swisstop carbon (yellow) pads part worn and a pair of Zipp Tangenete pads also part worn. No skewers.
Collection - Forest Hill - SE23 or can bring to LMNH during the week.
£825.00 - Cash is King.
