I always wonder wtf happens to people's bikes when they get ambulanced away...
Willowbrook Rd always gives me the heebyjeebies for some reason, bit of a busy road with lots of nutty driving.

His bike (a hybrid type) was padlocked reasonably well to the fencing. I will check it on the way home tonight.
The ambulance crew said they do take bikes with the patient to the hospital on occasion too. That stretch is v busy with bikes at the mo because the top section of surrey canal path is shut off.
Saw two near accidents (car v bike) whilst I was waiting to give statement to cops.
Stopped to help a rider knocked off at the horrible junction of Willowbrook Rd Se15 and St George's Way this morning at about 0825.
His shoulder didn't look too good but he was talking and conscious and was put in ambulance.
Driver said he didn't see him when he pulled out.
Police were good and on scene fairly promptly. Lots of people stopped to help including a passing nurse.
Driver asked to leave scene after leaving details so he could drop his 3 young kids at school, which seemed reasonable. He said he'd come back...
Sensibly he did return just as I was giving statement to cops.
Driver seemed in good mood but copper said that would soon change once he stuck him on.
(If you're reading this Jonathan hope you're healing up.)
