I was looking to cycle in Greece this year. Has anyone been there recently? Any routes, any highlights?

(flights are very cheap if someone goes there off-season)

I was in Greece last year and did some lovely routes around Parga up in the north west. Great roads, quiet, nice drivers, big hills, goats, smells of oregano, tortoises etc.

Hey @fizzy.bleach, what month were you there? Need to ask a bit about the weather.

ok maybe it was a bit much, so I've edited out the bulk of my post, but if you think you can lecture me on the rules of the forum then I hope you get double snakebite punctures on the mountain roads and have to walk all the way back down with no cleat covers.

It was June last year. Weather was very good. I don't recall it getting horrendously hot, and I don't think it rained.
