The 5D might be old, but it's a fantastic camera. Unless you need to shoot in low light conditions, you'll be hard pushed to be held back by the camera itself.If you do a bit of low light shooting though, and like film grain, the 5D is great. The grain is much nicer than on my 6D. When I had a 5D I didn't mind grain as it just looked like film, now though I tried to avoid it as much as I can.
