WTB - Relatively new high spec imac for video editing

Must admit i'm not too clued up about imacs but a mate is willing to spend almost 3k on a new top spec imac so I thought i'd ask around here to see if I can get a better deal on a used one. Must be an i7, preferably with a 500gb ssd. Can collect and pay cash anywhere around london. Anyone?

Ohhhhh that could be me...
I may be selling my iMac... maybe... need to sell one computer I think. One in/one out all that. It's a 2013 27inch, i5 (not i7 sadly) 1.1TB fusion drive (SSD/HDD mix) 24GB ram and a GTX 775M which is still a decent card. One sold on here for around £800 which strikes me as a bit low (just checked eBay, thats daft low). Ebay is saying 1000-1600. 1600 sounds like bollocks. Think I paid £1150 (second hand, last year) then another 100 odd on ram so would accept £1000? Does that sound about right?

Worth noting - if he is using FCP X a newer AMD equipped one will perform a lot better, if Premier then I think my Nvidia card will still be a strong contender.
