  • This was bought on here many years ago no?
Did Raleigh use Cinelli bottom brackets? Either way it looks a quality frame, would be a good buy for someone

  • SBDU and special products division Raleigh frames both used Cinelli bottom brackets yes. From early 80's I think.

  • hi.
    is it still available?
    how much?

  • Hey Ian,
    still available for 145, interested?

  • Dibs. YHPM.

  • Yeah the SBDU used Cinelli bb's. Mine has the same one as pictured. This frame looks to have been resprayed at some point so the number is barely visible unfortunately. However it does have a few special build characteristics in the seat stays/cluster and bb. My bet is on this being a very nice Worksop built frame. The serial numbers tend to be across the middle for Worksop, and starting in W, whereas SBDU normally run parallel with the edge of the bb, and always start with SB as i'm sure many are aware of.

  • Sold?

  • yep

  • I used to have a frame with this cinelli BB. I found putting inner cable liner on the inners through this section worked a treat. Less of a problem on friction shifting mind.

  • good idea, I assume that might help on most types of bottom bracket cable guides?
