Late 70s De Rosa F&F

Posted on
  • Hello. Here's another victim of my clearing. It's a De Rosa frameset from late 70s (fittings for porta catena, pressed lugs, flat fork crown etc.). I bought it off a 73 years old fella, who used to race when he was young. He owned the bike for last 25 years.

The frame was repainted at some point of its life, however the job was done really good, if Columbus decal didn't mention it I wouldn't have noticed. Paint has some chips, mainly on chainstays, however nothing really serious, there's also very little/almost no rust. The biggest paint chip is located on the seat tube, just behind front derailleur. I've included photos to show how big it is and how the chain stays look. Most of the chips are not visible when the bike is build. There is a very, very shallow dent on the top tube, I've tried to show it in the pics. Front fork is fully chromed and the chrome looks really, really good.

Top tube is 55 cm ctc
Seat tube is 56 cm ctc

Frame takes 27,2 mm seat post. It's build with Columbus SL, front dropouts are Campagnolo, don't know about rear.

Shimano 600 6500 headset is included.

The price is 400€. Frame is located in Poland.

    All the best
    Paweł
