Do you know why Brain is such an unusual tubeset? From what I can gather they only called a tubeset that for a short time. I have a Duell in it, and hardly ever seen Brain talked about here. Mine rides very nicely indeed! Not at all noodly, feels pretty stiff and very nippy.

What I know:

A Brain frame will be stiffer than SL/SLX because the tubes are larger in diameter and the thickness is only slighter thinner.

Brain frames are thus better and widely used on Colnago frames. But I think they where produced in the latest era of steel tubing before they switched to Alloy.
