-
• #12
Which is currently for sale on eBay :)

• #13
Very nice. 1" steerer?
-
• #14
Don't you already have a low trail 650b rando bike?
-
• #15
Whats the stack, reach, standover, front centre and wheelbase on your oak?
-
• #16
Hope you'll find a way to avoid that space bewteen fork crown and mudguard...
And + 1 on "what about the oak ?"
-
• #17
Yes, threadless.
The Oak is still being ridden in the meantime.
The tourer is a tourer, with low trail geometry.
Plus, because.

• #18
Why a threadless 1" steerer?
-
• #19
So many questions, new bike is always awesome though
also did I read something somewhere about 120mm rear spacing or am I making that up
-
• #20
ignore my question if you arent going to sell Oak :P
-
• #21
possibly 126 and 6/7 spd?

Yes, 120mm rear spacing with a 5/6 speed cassette hubs.
I have been riding with a friction 7 speed on the Oak before realising that I might as well run 10 speed and fill in the gap (the Oak is 130mm), this prompt the decision to upgrade it to full Campagnolo Super Record especially with the bigger saddle/bar drop.
I have always been happy with the 6 speed block especially how smooth it feel with miminal chain crossing.
And 1" threadless simply because it look more in proportion than a massive 1 1/8 steerer on a skinny frames.
Also the stem will be custom made, slammed at -17 to blend in with the Campagnolo Record threadless headset.
It's one of those build that make no sense to everyone but me.

Out of interest, why did you go with Cycles in Motion?
I think it time to let the cat out of the bag.
The next evolution, with full custom fork, stem, rack, decaleur even the bottom bracket shell.
