Moved to eBAY :-(

Due to my inability to resist buying more bike than I need (even allowing for the n+1 or s-1 rule(s)!), this very nice condition Kona 'Jake the Snake' is up for grabs. I bought this from a very nice guy with the full intention of using it to commute on (I even changed the canti brakes for mini v's), but prefer my CFR Pro (which is no longer for sale!).

Basic details as follows:

Frame: 56cm Easton Ultralite Race Tubing
Forks: Triple Butted steel forks with rack and mudguard eyes
Wheels Mavic MA 3 time with challenge Strada Bianca tyres
Group: Mainly 9 speed Shimano 105
Chainset: Stronglight alloy compact (46/33)
Brake calipers: Tektro RX5 Mini V (will include the original Avid Shorty 4 cantis & cross top levers!)
Easton bars, stem and seatpost
Saddle: WTB

The photos are from the original seller (I will post an updated photo with the new set up when light/weather allows & as m,entioned I will include the calipers & crosstops from the original set up). Collection can be from Battersea (evenings/weekends) or Farringdon (lunchtimes). I paid £350 and have probably cycled a grand total of 50 miles at most.

Yes, pretty light for an aluminium crosser (nice Easton Ultralight frameset) & well reviewed at the time. Just not my cup of tea in the end (or at least for what I wanted to use it for!)

I've never seen that Kona logo, what year is it from?

I think it is a 2005 and pretty much standard except for the Stronglight chainset (& the mini v's - although the original Avid Shorty 4's will come with!). RRP was $1,099 back in the day!

Bump for a very small price drop to £285!

Don't think I can go any lower - if no interest I may have to move it to the dreaded eBay :-(

Last price drop before putting it up on eBay (with a heavy heart!). Won't someone save this lovely Kona from that fate?

Any splits? I might be interested in frame and forks if you can find a suitable box to post it.
