SOLD SOLD SOLD
Hi all,
I have this loely 1997 LOOK KG131 going spare.
Frame size, centre to centre is 59cm seat tube / 57.5cm top tube.
Standover height is 84cm so this will fit someone around the 6ft1 - 6ft3 mark
#CSBstart I had this frameset on my wall of unused bikes in France, as I initially purchased it for the 25.0mm Look Ergopost. The bike came from a local cyclist in Reims (Marne), France and was sold by Cycles Hubert in Reims.
I also purchased a complete KG281 in my size for the frameset so I thought I would transfer all the parts from the KG281 onto the KG131. #CSBEnd
It was repainted circa 2004 as a KG386, the paintjob was done to a good standard (and still bear the original owner's name - Pedro Moreno) and the forks were also upgraded to threadless Look ones.
It is worth noting that there are paint stress cracks on the paint around the lugs / bottom bracket area, this is due to the paint job getting older as opposed to be linked to a crash or a terminal carbon illness - I have / had them on multiple Look bikes, nothing fatal but worth keeping an eye on them.
Since I have put the bike together, I have fitted a new SRAM 9 speed chain, new brake pads, new Shimano UN26 bottom bracket, new outer cables, new Dura-Ace downtube adjusters, new bar tape.
I have not ridden the bike since I built it so it will definitely need a tune up, which I can do / will do later on in the week.
Price wise, I am only after £375 -> £365 -> £350 ->** SOLD for £275** for the complete bike, or less if you buy Champagne from me.
Test rides from Stoke Newington or I can bring into work (Victoria).
Cheers
Vince
