hello
Whats the max pressure on the gravel rims???? something low id think?? -
• #4
Not too low - 100psi recommended max, so useful for road too.
-
• #5
oh thats cool. Tempting:)
-
• #6
hmmm.
The Yishun bike website states the max pressure is 65 psi . It clearly is the same rim, right? -
• #7
It's not from them. Xiamen Carbon Speed. I'll double check with the guy that I deal with.
-
• #8
Xiamen and Yishun bike both sell the same model, same specs, same titanium wire in the hooks
-
• #9
How well do the CX run with tubeless?
-
• #10
Must be 65psi then. I was just going of the label, but I think they're generic...
-
• #11
Very well. I recommend using gorilla tape and you're good to go.
-
• #12
bummer:( i was about to pull the trigger but they would have been for road
-
• #13
Yeah, it's defo looks like the same rim, so 65psi max according to Yishun. They do say it's good for road use too, but I would suggest this is a pure gravel/CX rim.
The rep from Xiamen just came back to me and suggests it's 90psi maximum...
I've update the OP to reflect the max tire pressures

These look like "an homage" to the Enve XC29er rim, I'm 82kg and run 60psi rear/55psi front in Schwalbe Pro One road tyres on the Enve, tubeless. You'd be losing out significantly on grip and comfort if you went any higher on the pressure, and a fat and feeble person like me rode those pressure to a four and a half hour 100 miles, which given everything else holding me back suggests that the wheels didn't.
I might buy these myself. Hmm.

• #22
Yeah, pretty much the same thing sans logo and price tag.
