Cannondale CAAD5 Track (56)

  • We all say it but sorry to see this one go. Not the most expensive bike but certainly one that's taken me on the most adventures.

The frame started life as an ugly Capo and I had the frame glass bead blasted and changed all the parts to my liking. I've owned it for 4 years in various guises from commuting, track and TTing but serving mostly as a lively all day spinner. I did have every intention of swapping out the factory wheels for something nicer, which it deserves, but never got round to it. I've ridden in all types of weather since having the frame blasted and it comes up well with a little WD40 and rag although there are some light marks. If interested my scales has the bike at 7.7kg.

  • Dibs f&F if it comes to a split!

    Nice build, glws

  • You forget the mention the chainring size, is it 48t?

  • That's right - 48t

  • This is both Excellent and very wallet friendly.

  • Quite tempted, as it is an excellent fixed road bike.

  • I'll take seat, post and stem if you split

  • I am seriously tempted in buying that and get it completely resprayed by Cole Coating in either a traditional Cannondale colour or a Klein one.

  • These are really, seriously good frames to ride. If I had not just bought a track bike this would be mine.
