Have also thought about this style, probably makes better sense to have an Italian inspired font to go with the name and "heritage" of the frame.

Let me know what you think
Why? You have to ride it.
If you respray it anyway, I'd get rid of the horrible name or anything revealing it's made by BLB.

Any suggestions? And just out of pure curiosity, what's wrong with it being built by BLB?

That is not bad but can you show the frame name in Verdana? I know what you mean by heritage, blb bikes literally started the fixed gear scene in here. My boy #onlyshred-in-Holborn knows a lot about the frames, he dropped a few on eBay, they went flying.

"heritage" of the frame
loooooooooool

I know what you mean by heritage
Not sure if you're joking
loooooooooool
I know it's by no means a heritage but I lacked a better word for describing. It was strictly referring to the name "La Piovra" being Italian and thereby possibly making the design in more of a Italian style.

Have you already bought it?

Not yet. But the one I've found is new and costs the equivalent of £200 so thought the price was okay everything considered.

There is a new Pre Cursa in a nice gun metal grey colour...
-
• #12
Not too fond of the Pre Cursa geo. Have looked at a few Dolans though.

Just noticed the "Build by hand" graphic.
Shouldn't it be "built"?

I can never remember which one's is English and which one's is American. English is not my first language.

One is present, one's past.
Are you German by any chance?
-

Oh and I have no strong opinion about the bike itself. If you like it, go for it!

Nope Danish. Close enough though ;)

Reckon Comic Sans would look dope!

Haha, good joke..

Needs Baby blue and white if we talking about heritage
So, I'm in the process of buying a La Piovra Air frame and while I wait I figured that I might as well change the design as I'm getting it painted once it arrives.
I'm not a huge fan of the original thin typography style.
Let me know what you think (it's just a mockup so quite easy to change)
In case anybody's interested the font used is Trade Gothic.
