Anyone who has offered stuff and I have said yes to but not made arrangements, we are still working on it. It has been very kind of people to offer to deliver, unfortunately with this particular person and their history, strangers can cause some "issues" so we would likely need mrs_com to be there to receive stuff.
If you need to get rid of things before I am able to sort it, please go ahead.

Also, people who were keen to donate money can go here - https://www.paypal.me/amsstevenson

Thought you were after donations for yourself and was thinking cheeky bastard, until I clicked through to your other post!
Sounds like a good cause and good on you for trying to help.
I've just moved flat so don't have any bloody furniture myself but I'm grateful that I have the means to get it myself, if not now then in the new year.
Good luck and I hope you can help! -

Yeah, I probably could have picked a more descriptive title.
We moved her in on Saturday and although the place is infinitely better suited (previous room was in a bail hostel - not ideal for a young person in her situation), it is completely empty. We've a way to go yet but it will be sorted by Christmas.

I don't have any spare stuff. But if people have objects they want to donate but can't transport easily I could probably help with some delivery - they'll need to be able to fit in a regular hatch-back though.

Cheers, I will let you know.

Cheers, but it definitely 99.9% mrs_com, I'm just providing logistical support (carrying shit).
Update on offers. Some people have offered some big appliances but trying to coordinate man and van whilst still having me or mrs_com there to receive delivery (strangers are an issue) is proving difficult. It is also proving prohibitively expensive for what it will achieve.
Luckily, people have also been very generous with cash donations. So much so that some of the bigger white goods are going to be bought new and delivered.
That way we can get a lot the big stuff in one hit and I can be there to fit it. Also, some people have offered some smaller things and stuff that they are willing to deliver. I am hoping to coordinate that at the same time.
Thanks everyone for their generous donations and offers. It is awesome how people are willing to rally. It has already made a huge difference.

Also, given mrs_com's semi-jewish heritage, she informs me that these kind deeds are considered a Mitzvah, which is supposed to be good timing for where we are in the year. I am insisting that is a euphemism and entirely inappropriate for the situation.

The current aim is to arrange a delivery slot this Saturday but it will be dependent on confirming dimensions before I can order the appliances.
I will try to keep everyone who has offered to drop stuff off up to date.

Arranging a delivery slot is still problematic.
Although she does now have a "Christmas tree"

Beautiful tree!
And nice to see people helping strangers out. -

Appliances ordered for Sunday 1pm - 5pm
I will be there to receive the delivery so if anyone else has something they would like to drop off (Green Lanes, near Manor House tube), I can meet you at the door.
