Find chain tugs that fit rather than bodge your frame. Try the 8mm ones or don't use them at all.

hack the tugs to fit.
buy tugs that fit.Wouldn't hack the dropouts, but if you do and it dosn't work out i call dibs on the ruined frame :)

Thanks guys ,I think I'm going to sell the nice sleek 5mm ones and get the 8mm chunky ones that don't look as stealth but will no doubt fit .
Best get a sale add up . -

Let me know how the 8mm fit. By the way, I have got the same frame and built it ss without chain tugs. I am curious to know why you want to use chain tugs.

I thought it was necessary but having spoken to others on here and after seeing pics of this frame built up I think they are not now needed so I'm just selling the5mm ones

cant you just send them back/return them?
Im building a single speed bike up using a Cinelli mash work frame .I though it would be best to use chain tugs and so bought a set of the MKS 5mm chain tugs as they look nice and small and well made .
They turned up today but sadly I couldn't get them to fit over the rear dropouts .I think if I filed the dropout ends they would fit but having just spent £750 on the frame I'm a little reluctant to do that .But wondered if it's common issue and if so do most file the dropout ends ?
