Seat tube: 56 cm c-t
Top tube: 56 cm c-c
Stem length: 120 mm
First some background on this lovely frame. The frame is made by the dutch brand Batavus, and is made around 1987. The Professional serie was the most high end serie from Batavus. It was the competitor of the Gazelle Champion Mondial. What really makes this dutch frame so nice, is the simpleness. No extra things, a lovely frame with pointy lugs and a plain metalic color.
The frame is made out of rare Reynolds 531 professional tubing. It's thinner drawn version of the reynolds 531. So it's lighter, but also bit less strong. But that's no problem for riders that aren't too heavy. Reynolds 653 became later the superseded version of Reynolds 531 Professional. The front fork is Reynolds 531. This frame is built with Campagnolo pads.
The paint of the frame is in a stunning condition, as you can see in the pictures. It only has a few spots and scratches. I have pictured the worst spots. The chrome on the chainstay is also in a very good condition with no rust.
This bike comes with a full 6 speed Shimano 600 EX groupset (including headset!), a Shimano 600 AX seatpost and AX (hidden bolt) stem. The groupset fits the bike perfectly, therefore I also prefer not to split frame and groupset. The groupset is in a good condition. It only shows some scratches and spots as you can see in the pictures. Everything works as it should. The hubs, headset and bracket run smooth without play. The rims have very much life left and same goes for the brake pads. The spoke holes do show a little rust. Chain and cassette are also in a good condition. The tyres do not show very much usage. The bars have new bar tape. I can supply the bike with click pedals: SPD, SPD-SL or Look delta.
It's a lovely bike in a very good condition, and If I already didn't had another Batavus Professional I would keep this one. The thing is, that I can just ride one bike at a time.
I would like SOLD!, including postage and excluding paypal fee.
Dibs then PM.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me anything.
For how much did you sell this one? I have the same, only difference from is that my brake cable goes in the frame. If I could get the right price I would sell him too.

Formatting Help
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
