Cross post from another thread(s) but it does make more sense here.
The frame has a post mount for the rear and a flat mount for the fork. I a groupset from Merlin which has a pair of RS805 flat mount calipers, so I need to order a single post mount caliper.
Does anyone know whether I need a
BR-R785 Caliper
or a
BR-RS785 Caliper to match the front RS805?
Also any suggestions for silver 36h hubs that don't cost the earth?

Hope
I actually ordered this a long time ago now, but haven't had the time / space to sort out the built. Now I'm finally doing it!
The aim is a bike that feels like a road bike, but with more practicality. Pretty much a less bling, less orange version of Dammit's Time Machine.
Money/realism has downgraded the spec from full a full Dura Ace-Di2-hydro set up to a functional, but nice...
Spec
(work in progress)
other frame details:
The frame should be 650b compatible (both geometry and clearance) - I'm happy with 700c X 25-28mm but want 32mm as an option while keeping what will be a small frame visually in proportion.
Aesthetically I'm aiming for new age fun with a vintage feel.
Essentially I planned to build two bikes with this frame. One now; modern, carbon bits, with some classic styling (thinking of that silver Bob Jackson or Jaygee's Roberts). The second (much later); 650B X 32mm, silver finishing kit, silver mudguards, possibly a Brooks, etc.
But I'm still working through ideas and shopping lists.
General ideas:
Wheels:
Finishing kit: Syntace bar/stem, undecided on bars - propper measurement of RS685 shifters will probably decide this.
