Your search skills are much better than mine. Fork is nice
What's that chainring you have got, what make is it?
-
• #6
Chainring is just a cheap one. These cranks have an indexing notch that requires some file work to use a solid ring. Tried stripping the ano twice without success so I think I'm using the wrong stuff haha. They don't see to sell the correct oven cleaner in Austria

Bought a threaded headset already, sticking with quil setup but thanks. Still interested in the Cosmic hub?
-

I know you said threaded, just saw them and thought you might consider it, Look forks are some of my favourites in 1" flavour.
Yes potentially -

Totally, but holding out for a threaded fork.

What about such an Kinesis aero fork?
I don't have one to offer you, but could ask someone in Germany who should have one. -
• #13
Not really what I'm looking for but thanks

Go for some Rychtarski made straight Max forks!

I've got a Columbus Genius fork which is a spare for my Scapin but a) I think it's in my brother's garage and b) I don't have the dimensions. I can ask him to check if you like? It's chrome beneath the paint (I stripped the original as per this old photo: https://www.instagram.com/p/7SaLDoSjAf)

Depending on price/details maybe
-
• #17
OK, I'll ask him to have a look for them tomorrow and get the dimensions. They look like these, albeit painted blue (http://bit.ly/2fyZtlf).

Hi mate, I can't seem to get my brother to walk the few metres from his house to his garage so cannot confirm the dimensions of the fork. I might try and pop over there on the weekend so I'll dig them out if I can.

No stress, let me know.

Red and yellow should go, as the frames decals are yellow. Would defo need a McDonald's logo somewhere lol
-

Hi mate, I went over to check out the fork at my brother's (finally found it). It's not in as good condition as I'd remembered and would almost certainly need the paint stripping off back to the chrome beneath. It's probably a load of hassle so you might be better off with that Coppi (which appears to have lovely paint, which also matches). Sorry it took so long!

Thanks anyway! Not sure on the coppi waiting to hear back on another pair now
Just bought this lovely Balk track frame from @nutsjesmoar without any real plan:
As my also recently aquired CAAD5 track is a bit ratty already im just going to lean into it and shift some of the nicer bits here.
so it will be getting:
Xentis mk1 front(may also buy a matt one but the carbon matches the rear)
Cosmic sl (laced to a new hub 2x both sided non bladed black spokes.)
Fsa vigorellis (with less shitty chainring)
Salsa stem(all the salsas)
Thats the bits so far, still shopping for an interesting fork, headset and seatpost
