Surly 24 pack front rack AND wald basket - the ultimate combo

Selling the bike that this is from so this should go too. A Surly 24 pack rack (can hold 30lbs) with a large wald basket zip tied on top. Super strong, and your shopping doesnt fall out.

Ahhhh - fair enough.

The big question is whether the extra weight is worth it, especially when I already have a rack bag?

I would quite like to be able to just chuck stuff up the front and not worry, rather than constantly fiddle with straps on the underside of the rack...

basket is useful for going to the shops etc

Not at the moment, I crashed and broke the rack. The large wald fits well on the 24 pack. I used to use the wald for daily use with a bag in it to stop stuff rattling and then my actual rack back for touring as its fully waterproof
