Yep it is going to be cloudy but will trudle up to Hampstead Heath because it is a good ride and may get a lucky glimpse.

The salient, take-home point I guess is:
If you want to experience Eclipses, Supermoons and other astronomical phenomena - move to Chile..
Great ride and company though.
Cheers Fraser Moultrie for the top secret look out.

Greetings folks,
I knew I wasn't going to see the moon - the weather is something we cannot change - it is bigger than us....
However just to echo John's comment, it was a great ride and company... A select bunch - just 10 punters with another pick up near Regents Park. In LFGSS tradition I did a circle or two outside Tate Modern and then rode over the wobbly bridge rather than walking on my way up to St Pauls. Met John and Kris holding court on the steps. The ride up to Hampstead was pretty quick paced which was nice and a really good work out for me at my age. The trip up and over Primrose Hill park was lovely and it was great to cycle around the streets on the approach to the Heath.
I split just as the special viewing treat courtesy of the lovely Fraser was to happen. Then headed home to Dread Heights. 27.71 miles in the bag. I felt really high after a great workout and lovely ride.
Well done John et al, it was brilliant.
Peace and love,
Tim
Riding up to Hampstead Heath on Monday November 14th to see if I can catch a view of the supermoon from the relative darkness of Parliament Hill.
If it is overcast or raining will probably just go home.
Leaving from St Paul's Cathedral at 19:00(10KM).
From The Independent:
"The year is set to close with the biggest moon that most people alive will ever have seen.
The moon is set to get closer – and so brighter and bigger – than it has for almost 70 years on 14 November.
The moon will be closer to Earth than it has been since 1948, and it won’t get as close again until 2034"
