Shifting cables got stuck

Hi,

I have Campagnolo C Record shifters with cables. The problem is that I can't take off the cables as their heads got stuck in shifters holes. Do you know how can I get rid the cables out of shifers?

Posting some pictures of the problem will probably help illicit some suggestions... it sounds like soaking with a good quality penetrant like Plus Gas would be a good first step, and if all else fails maybe you could drill out the cable anchors.
