Would have to be the Ron Cooper, but after that any of the Pegoretti's, he's even got a Trek District in there so not all top dollar bikes.

Individualised saddle bag for each bike, nice.

$650 for a Fuji Track???!

I'm leading the bidding for the Phonak Team Machine. Don't reckon I'll win it though. The listings are obviously written by someone who knows absolutely nothing about bikes.

Don't think this is going to be the place for bargains, more for fans, plus, the money is going to charity.

Oh I know, there was a far more reasonable estimate on it. however the saddle may have been graced by Robin's cheeks so value there I guess.

The estimate on the crazy rare Lampre Six13 made me lol
Only twenty of those were made...

I knew he liked cycling (here he is with a mate:
) but I didn't know he had so many bikes. Amazing to see a Fuji Track being sold for (at the time of writing) $1,900. The man clearly had good taste, in bikes at least, if not in mates. It seems he wanted to own one of every renowned brand he'd heard of, although clearly he hadn't heard of all of them, and goodness knows how much he managed to ride each one of them. But, yeah, n+1.
Still very sad that he's gone.

Who would've thought that Robin Williams owned a Ron Cooper track bike?? (Please note, I've e-mailed the auction site to make them aware that this lovely machine has nothing to do with the "Cooper Bike Company (est. 2009)" and that they need to provide an accurate reference to Ron. FFS!)
They've corrected that, by the way:

This Cooper is a lugged track bike featuring a rare handmade frame, finished in a striking royal blue. The bike was handmade by the legendary bicycle framebuilder Ron Cooper for Robin Williams.

Yay! Hoping that was my doing, since I sent them a link to Ron's Wikipedia page for convenience, and I did get a courtesy response to say that they'd passed my e-mail on to their "cataloguing team". My work here is done. :)

It looks like there's a thumb shifter on the tops for the front mech. It must be all-right.

It's for doping.

Very common back then, save weight.

More to avoid mechanical error IIRC.

Robin with Zig and Zag..

Well this was a minor revelation. Robin Williams was a bit of a bike nut, and owned (at least) 87 bikes. These are now up for auction for charity, and it's quite a collection.

Besides this, anyone got any favourites?
