Look KG243 (Columbus Neuron) frameset - size 56 - SOLD

I'm selling my Look KG 243 frameset. One of the most iconic framesets from the nineties.

Frame and forks are in very good condition (some tiny chips but nothing more than that).

Price is 400 € (+ shipping and PP-fees)

Size is 56 cm square.

Thanks. I know it's a shame to sell it but when I was touring through the French Alps last week, I was thinking (once again...) I want to ride more and put less energy in collecting, owning and working on bikes... So maybe there will follow more.

It's absolutely understandable and I had similar thoughts even though I own 'only' seven bikes. I'll keep an eye on your posts but I shouldn't buy any more road bikes. If anything I need a track bike which doesn't have a crack in the chainstay ... but that's another story :/

p.s. give me a shout out if you're planning to sell your EM stuttgart. It's my home town and I always had a soft spot for that paint scheme ;)

My Merckx's are just the one I'm willing to keep but if one day I decide to sell it, I'll keep you in mind. ;-)

Seems fair, especially now that you have a complete croce d'aune for it! I'm afraid the Trek is not really what I'm looking for, a bit too small and not steel. But like I said, I probably shouldn't be looking for another bike anyway and should rather concentrate on other things... Thanks for the offer tho!

400€ for the frameset is way too much in my opinion.

You probably can find one for less money, that's true. If you can find one, that is...

I'm sorry to say but mine is in a much better state than that one. Mine doesn't have rust spots on the chrome, neither bubbled paint at the cable guide holes.

Price is negotianable tho.

Sorry to be controversial but I think it's a fair price for the frame. If I hadn't just purchased a Basso Astra I would pay €400 for this iconic frame. I would always prefer to pay a lot more for a frame that doesn't need any refurbished work. The one on ebay was not in great nick.
