This is awesome. And wait, are those track ends?!
Bonus points for not including the obligatory 'one of the last frames to be made in the USA' nonsense.

Thanks Howard, yeah if it was a bit smaller I'd definitely keep it and yes good spot, the rear drop outs are horizontal track end type, in fact that's what initially drew me to the bike as I thought I could convert it into a fixed / single speed runabout, but I couldn't resist sorting out the hub gears and with the new shifter they're a joy to use. Anyway, hopefully someone will give this Dale a good home...

Many thanks, sold...
Hi All, I'm selling a Cannondale C200 hybrid which I've upgraded with lots of new parts. The bike dates from when Cannondale's were still made in the U.S, and the frame is CAD1 aluminium with a 22" / 56cm seat tube while the forks are steel.
The bike has Shimano Nexus 7 speed hub gears which were originally operated with a grip shifter, but I've upgraded this with a new Nexus trigger shifter. Brake-wise the rear wheel has a coaster brake which works perfectly, it's really powerful, but I've replaced the original cantilever brakes up front with modern Shimano Deore V-brakes and the matching lever for better stopping power.
I've also modernised the cockpit by fitting an ITM quill to A-head adapter, a new 100mm Cannondale A-head stem for oversize bars, and a pair of wide risers with new grips. I've also swapped out the rest of the finishing kit including the seatpost, a new Cannondale saddle, and some chunky VP platform pedals.
The wheels are in really good condition and are Rigida rims laced to a Sovos front hub and the Nexus one on the rear, there's minimal brake wear to the front rim and both wheels are spinning smooth and true. The tyres in the photos are 38c gumwall Kenda Kwiks, although I've just switched them out for all black 35c Kenda Tendrils, but I can supply the bike with either.
This bike is a fun urban hybrid and is super low maintenance due to the hub gears. In the photos you can see the PDW Take Out basket which I fitted just for a laugh (and which I'm keeping) but the frame has mounts for racks and guards, so makes for a really practical steed.
Everything on the bike is running smooth, the headset and bottom bracket have been serviced and the chain is new, so you should have many miles of riding ahead before the bike needs any attention.
If you have any questions please PM me, the bike's in London E14 by Canary Wharf, I'm asking for £300 o.n.o collected or can ship via 24hr courier for £22, thanks for looking.
