Pedal for Scotland?

I've always given this a wide berth but a few for are asking me to join them; is it fix friendly? Any others doing it?
Am tempted to do there and back.

The Big Belter option? Looks fix friendly to me. I've thought about it but can't get that weekend free.

I did last year fixed and break free, there and back on the standard route. That was fine. It was a slightly different route from previous years with a couple of extra hills but I managed it all on a 48 x 15 gear. I think I did about a 185km round trip.

Tips:

Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----

To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word

To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word

That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
