  • Hi All,

I thought I would start a project thread for my new frameset - a 2014 Bridgestone Anchor PHM9 carbon in green/white livery.

I was riding a Condor x Richard James full carbon track frameset, however the integrated seat mast has been cut a tad too short for me and it has been proven impossible to locate a Dedaccia King Pin (long version) to remediate the situation. (#CSBstart Dedaccia has it in stock in Italy - ChickenCycleKit, the official importer does not want to let me order it directly and DeVer Cycles can't be bothered helping out #CSBend)

This frameset was purchased from Jason Burrill who has picked up 3 top 5’s in the Masters Track Championships back in 2014. He picked up an injury earlier on this year, hence the sale.

I've not been to the track in a long while so it is likely that it will temporarily be ridden in HHSB guise with a view to peraps go back to LVV at some point.

    Technical Data:
The Bridgestone Anchor PHM9 Track Frameset is one of the best Track Cycling Framesets of all time and is seen as a legend within the world of Track Cycling.
Used by countless professional Track Cyclists, including Victoria Pendleton, the latest version of the classic frame is available in an attractive range of colours and three sprint specific sizes.
A reference point for the vast majority of rival manufacturers, hence the similarity to a number of well-known market leading products, the PHM9 is still in a league of it's own.
Cut-Outs in the Down Tube and Seat Tube allow for more clearance for Disc Wheels such as the Mavic Comete which also allows for wheels to be inserted closer to the frame, giving less drag further increasing the aerodynamic advantage
The Stainless-Steel Dropouts have been made thicker and stronger meaning they have increased durability for the countless gear changes that Track Cycling involves. Adjusters have also been added for perfect alignment of the wheels.
Made from the highest quality Carbon-Fibre by Bridgestone's skilled designers in Japan, the Bridgestone PHM9 Track Frameset is incredible value for money and guaranteed to provide you with the means for reaching your goals and optimising your performance, the rest is down to you!
Colour: Green (but also available in Red, Blue, Silver, Purple, Orange, Gold, Yellow)
Size: 62cm (ctt) / 53cm (ctc) with a top tube of 55.5cm (ctc)
Frame: Bridgestone Anchor PHM9 Carbon Track Frame
Forks: Bridgestone Anchor PHM9 Carbon Track 1-1/8" Forks
Ahead Headset: Bridgestone Anchor PHM9 Ahead 1-1/8th Headset
    Bottom Bracket Thread: BSA
    Seatpost Diameter: 27.2mm

    What it looks like now:

In action at the track with the original owner:

  • Dammmmn that's good.

  • pls no green bartape!

  • green is good for a streetstunna

  • This is incredibly sweet!

  • Risers, pink BMX/dirt jump grips and double Aerospoke

    #troll

  • Remediate is not a word;)

  • OT: remedy or rectify, which one would be more suitable?

  • ...remtify.

  • That's what happens when you work in planning and spend too much time at the office.
    "Fix the problem"
I'll keep the remediation work where it belongs ;-)

  • Long neck lime green ODI grips.

Also thinking about getting some FSA Cannondale finishing kit - it has white and green accents.

  • Yes!!!! All the green slice stuff is perfect ha

  • You'll need deep crabon to get full HHSB point! minimum 60mm!

  • I will be transfering components from the Condor so it'll be:

    • 50mm UD carbon 23mm wide clincher wheels (need to check tyre clearance)
    • Sugino 75DD 165mm cranks
    • 51t Fiberlyte carbon chainring
    • 90mm stem & wide carbon risers

  • Or ?

  • Colour coded long grips and crank boots have arrived...

  • Needs shamals imo

  • Don't suppose you still have the Condor and might want to sell it? :)))) Agree on shamals ^

  • crank boots

    whyyyy

  • I still have the Condor, I have stripped it last Sunday.
I was planning on taking it back to France and putting it on my wall of unused bikes.

I have finally managed to source an extended integrated seat post clamp (Dedaccia KingPin Long) for a mere £69.99 after 4 months of badgering the dreadful ChickenCycleKit / DeVer Cycles...

@sascha No decent cash offers will be refused!!

  • I bought the Sugino 75DD brand new and ridden them for about 300 miles so we are still in the honeymoon period where I want to keep them pristine.

I have even fitted heli-tape on the arms :-)
