I'd be tempted for more period stuff. Leaning that way with my 90's TT frame after trying a more modern setup.

Drops, 57t with 13up block, 28h sprints with 18mm tubs

I bought an Omega off Ebay and the guy had a few other bits. Picked up this and an Olmo for good sterling.
Stem converter turned up today. Chucked on a set of wheels for the photo. Clearance it pretty tight with 25mm tubs.
57t... I need to make sure I can at least turn the cranks, I'll start with a 56t as I have one spare.
Wasn't sure what to do with this frame I picked up last month. Couple sizes to small for me, but couldn't resist the bargain. Decided on building it up into a geared TT bike. Looking for some inspiration and ideas for components.
Need to decide on a groupset... Modern or period correct... Maybe a rear disk, or deep section rims?
Most my bikes are pretty "safe" so wanting to try something different out with this one.
