60mm / 50mm carbon rims

  • More clearing out going on... A set of new unused / unlaced 60mm rear (24h) and 50mm front (20h) carbon clincher rims. Both 25mm wide and tubeless ready. They're U-shape profile going up to 28mm wide at the widest point of the profile. Front is 495g and rear is 558g. Normally £200 each or £400 as a set, I'd like £350 for the pair.

Alternatively, happy to build up for you. For this offer only, I can build with Sapim CX-Ray's and DT Swiss 240s hubs for £860 or Extralite SL hubs for £875. That'll be around 1600g with the DT hubs or 1486g with the Extralite's.

    Price drop - £320 delivered.

  • Selling these on RCC too.
    Read the rules m8.

  • Hmm, that's a private member's only forum m8.

  • From the rules:

No cross-posting adverts you've put on other sites. If you have an item for sale anywhere other than here, like ebay, bikeradar, ctc, retrobike, etc. then you cannot post it here. However, if you have posted it on one of those other sites, other people who have discovered it are allowed to post it in the eBay/Craigslist finds thread. You must not do this yourself.

  • Seems a bit silly.

Anyway, removed from RCC. Cheers for that.

  • Damn nice rims. If I had the space to store more wheels I'd take you up on the offer of a build for them.

    Good luck.

  • Thanks @Velocio. Maybe some other time...

For anyone interested I've been at this wheel-building lark professionally for going on 3 years now - see some of my builds here: http://blog.23mm.co.uk/

  • I have these rims on my road bike and they're definitely roll really nice, especially during the cross winds.

    Have a bump! :)

  • Thanks. Pricing from LB is about $420 without import duty, so £320.

I'll match that with a price drop to £320 delivered, and no worries about trying to avoiding import duty.

  • £300 anyone?
